AshLite is obviously similar to A-Shell in many ways. When it comes to pricing, however, AshLite doesn't have much in common with A-Shell--and not only in the price ranges of the two products. The AshLite pricing structure is much different than A-Shell, so please make sure you understand those differences.

1. AshLite can only be purchased in the quantities shown in the price list. If you need a seven-user license, purchase ten. If you need 60 users, purchase three 25-user licenses.
    
2. The price of an AshLite license is not influenced by existing AshLite licenses. If you wish to purchase a license for 25 copies of AshLite, in other words, the price is the same whether you already have three, 50, 500 or zero AshLite licenses.
    
3. The quantity/price relationships shown in the price list are understood to be per site. A ten-user license, therefore, is for ten users at one site. Single-user licenses at each of ten (or 25 or 300) different sites would receive the one-user price, not the ten-user price. Developers considering Ashlite for multi-user-per-site and multi-site applications should contact MicroSabio for pricing information.
    
4. Annual software support and maintenance fees are calculated the same for AshLite as for A-Shell, and AshLite costs are added to A-Shell costs to come up with the total system cost on which software maintenance billings are based.
