Bob Rubendunst and his company Soft Machines produce Autolog™, which we recommend for remote communications with A-Shell.  Soft Machines has several other software products that are worthy of note.

ZTERM™, distributed by MicroSabio, was developed and is maintained by Rod Hewitt and his company Cool Stuff. 

Ipswitch produces a popular Windows FTP package called WS_FTP® which is a handy tool to have when transferring a lot of files between systems.

Easysoft produces ODBC drivers for ISAMPLUS.

MicroLite produces an excellent UNIX/Linux backup and recovery utility called BackupEdge™, which we highly recommend

FacetCorp makes two excellent products frequently used in conjunction with A-Shell:.  FacetTerm®, a multi-tasking utility, and FacetWin®, a general UNIX-Windows connectivity tool that includes terminal emulation and file/printer sharing.
