ATE, the A-Shell Terminal Emulator, was originally conceived and built as a special-purpose emulator whose only function was to provide a PC-based program to display screens created by A-Shell running on a non-Windows host computer. This was and is ATE's main purpose. In 2007, however, developers' interest in ATE widened, and ATE has therefore become a more fully-featured and conventional terminal emulator which provides AM65/75 and Wyse50 emulations along with the AM65/75 "G" versions used in conjunction with A-Shell's GUI capabilities. ATE is supported only under A-Shell versions 5.0 and later. Please inquire of MicroSabio for more information.
