Software maintenance: Technical support, access to the A-Shell technical forum discussions and software updates are provided via an annual support contract which is REQUIRED. "Required" means "not optional." Please be sure to include annual maintenance costs in your plans and calculations, as you will receive annual billings on or about the anniversary of your purchase of A-Shell. Software Maintenance Contracts

Annual maintenance contracts are required for all A-Shell systems and purchases, and are calculated as a percentage of today's total A-Shell system price. The three levels of support are 25%, 20% and 15%, and are based on the amount of support required by the customer. The minimums are shown at right. Most end-user customers should plan on the 20% level, with high-maintenance customers paying 25%. The 15% rate is reserved for developers and resellers. Additional support plans are available for unusual situations, small developers, etc.; inquire if needed. All plans include unlimited updates to the current version of A-Shell, access to the A-Shell support forums, and "modest amounts" of voice/email support.					15% of total system price;   $100 minimum
